As the nation gears up for a busy summer of passion and football fever supporting England in the World Cup, we celebrated the summer kick off by hosting a World Cup event at The Mayfair Hotel on Wednesday. Hosting both a ‘Widow’ and ‘Warrior’ suite we invited loads of media folk down to experience a taster of our 90 minute experiences  to ensure both sexes are singing in celebration this summer!

Our World Cup ambassadors Ian Wright and Paul Merson had a great time in the Warriors suite thrashing out a few games of table football with the journalists from Shortlist (no surprises they were equally gifted).

Although he kept us guessing about his football predictions for the World Cup, Ian Wright told us he would be watching the game this summer with the family. Meanwhile, Kirsty Gallagher was in our ‘Widows’ suite enjoying a world class manicure and massage. Originating from a sporty family (her father is former Ryder Cup captain Bernard Gallacher) she said: “Although I’m looking forward to the World Cup this summer, if it all gets too much then the 90 minute pampering and spa treatments from lastminute.com are a great way to escape for a little while!” We can safely say she was beaming the whole afternoon!

The evening event kicked off at 8pm as we took over the majestic Penthouse suite, fully decked out with a cocktail bar on the terrace, DJ booth and plenty  of celebrity peeps. We had Jodie Harsh and Tom Crane on the decks, and guests enjoyed a boogie as well as nibbling on the mini hamburger canapés.

Celebrity attendees included Mollie from The Saturdays, Tara-Palmer Tomkinson, Louie Spence,  Danielle Lloyd, Zoe Salmon  and some of the Arsenal football boys (who apparently shouldn’t be out on a school night…).
