The great thing about being a blogger is the amazing variety of people you meet online and they’re especially useful if they connect in one place. One of the friendliest environments I have found is that of the parenting bloggers. These bloggers are always happy to share the good stuff they know and do and have great tips to share.

This week, as the days countdown to the end of the Summer school term, I’ll be compiling a round up of the best of parenting and kids blogs to help you if are you looking for ideas about what to do this Summer when school is out.

First, let’s meet Have a Lovely Time which has great posts on the places they’ve been and things they have seen while out and about with their children, in the hope of helping you decide where would be a lovely place to go.

It’s by no means a comprehensive listing of UK or overseas family holiday opportunities, rather a collection of (often favourite) haunts pulled together by a collection of parents.

To start you off, there’s a great story here the best Summer holidays for families if you can rob a bank first.

I’ll be posting more great stories this week but for now, happy reading.

That’s a pleasure – and thanks for sharing with us too – we know people love to know what it’s really like and this is great, thanks to you too, Eva

  • Readers of your blog might be interested to know of the wonderful residential summer camps offered by ATE Superweeks. These holidays, recently featured in the Sunday Telegraph and in the Sunday Times, take place in country houses throughout August, and some are now discounted to give amazing value for money.
